Bitrix Environment for Linux

Bitrix Environment for Linux serves as a simple installation of all auxiliary products which Bitrix software requires for proper functioning (MySQL 5, Apache 2, PHP 5.3, Zend Server CE 5) on CentOS 5/6 (i386/x86_64), Fedora 12/13/14/15 (i386/x86_64) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6 (i386, x86_64).

The installation packet includes the bitrixsetup script, so installing the products is just as easy as installing Bitrix Environment for Windows or the Bitrix Virtual Applicance VMware Edition.

Bitrix Environment for Linux v3.0 includes:

Install sequence:

# wget http://peros.1c-bitrix.ru/yum/bitrix-env.sh
# chmod +x bitrix-env.sh
# ./bitrix-env.sh 

Before or after installation, the Bitrix product must be allowed access to the following TCP ports in order to function properly:

80     http
443    https
10082  https Zend Server CE control panel
5480   https VMware Virtual Appliance control panel
5222   bitrix xmpp server
5223   bitrix xmpp ssl server
25     bitrix smtp server
Likewise, if you intend to use Bitrix SMTP, you will need to turn off sendmail or other SMTP services installed by default.
# service sendndmail stop
# chkconfig sendmail off
